Content Management Systems

The power of the Web is its ability to instantly update content. That feat is difficult to achieve when you are waiting for a third party to update your site. Therefore, we have created a very powerful, yet extremely user-friendly content management system (CMS) that allows administrators to update virtually anything on their site from text to PDFs files to individual graphics.

The CMS is highly adaptable allowing multiple administrators access to specific content "regions" of a site. This approach allows a credit union to disseminate the responsibility of maintaining a site throughout the respective business groups of the credit union. For instance, you can allow your HR Director to easily update the "Job Opportunities" section of the Web site, however restrict them from any other portion of the site.

We have observed two methodologies of Web maintenance in the credit union industry; the silo method and the content-owner method. In the silo method, all changes are completed within a centralized department, often Marketing or IT. In the content-owner method, changes are made by the respective content owners. Our content management system gives a “super user” the ability to set up additional administrators and, most importantly, the specific section they will be responsible for updating.
